I spent 6 months in a domestic abuse shelter and by God's grace there were woods nearby that nobody went it. I don't think I'd ever have pulled myself out of trauma if I hadn't been able to go there to cry and yell and pray it out.
It's the Chinqua-Penn Walking Trail up in Reidsville, north of Greensboro. It's a fantastic stroll. Most of it is in the woods, and the rest is along a working cattle farm.
Peace in nature is good for the heart and soul. And then the work begins anew. Thereβs hope still, and the cliff edge is not on us yet. We got this. ππ
