I finally deleted Facebook and Instagram yesterday after a year of barely using either. Both are useless scam and algorithmic promotion machines. I never saw anything my friends posted. Just random shit (mostly AI nonsense), and ads for companies with the same bios.

I mass deleted all my posts, interactions, and pictures. Cleared my bio as much as possible. Then hit delete. Now BlueSky is the only social media I'm on.

But I guess I'm just virtue signaling.
