yesss this !! i had a couple mods for fom but like the game barely needs them. but i always have at least 30+ mods for stardew & idk i feel like if i need that many mods 2 make it interesting, maybe its just not for me lolz

i dont necessarily find one better than the other BUT mistria holds my attention better while also not being overwhelming. i still enjoy stardew but after like 2 ingame days im like "k thats enough" meanwhile i could go on for hours in mistria!!

I love both to bits, and both have their place and audience. FoM has a lot of qol and graphical upgrades over SDV, and I think it's wonderful but SDV has its own charm for popularising farming sims, being one of the most beloved indie game and being a result of one amazing man's continuous efforts

all of the characters feel so real in FOM it literally took me I believe one entire in game week before I got repeat dialogue whereas in SDV I think it was legitimately in one in game day that dialogue got repeated 😭 and yeah the new update gave y2 dialogue but only for the fests.

It’s not NEARLY enough. there’s also so many other aspects of SDV that I have problems with, problems I’ve only recently started to notice after playing it again after the new update and I could go on and on about it but it would take SO long to get through it all but yeah akwldirhrowjen
