Because the world is bigger than America. Facebook caused a civil war in Myanmar by posting lies and disinformation and led to the genocide against the Rohingya. It has worldwide implication against our allied relationships

Honestly surprised people are freaking out over Facebook. I left it because it became a far right hellsite like 5 years before Twitter did. It's been that way for a very long time.
