What I find most annoying about this episode is not that they let him speak, but that from the sound of it everyone adopted the cordial 'oh, isn't that interesting' tone they reserve for insiders, rather than angrily defending their institution and its values.
Moral cowards.
Moral cowards.

Ugly cretin Yarvin really exposing the plan here. The right doesn’t want institutions like Harvard and Hollywood destroyed. They want them to be forced to use their cultural power to present their shitty unpopular ideas as if they were good and popular www.thecrimson.com/article/2025...

But I suppose the frisson of being seen as close to to power, close to the court philosopher is better.
The second best response is to ambush him with a catalog of his obvious, stupid errors, followed by a full-throated denunciation of his immoral, unpatriotic and unAmerican ideology, demanding to know why he is a traitor to his country.
Self-preservation instincts that would embarrass a lemming.
