Yes that’s true. We have an obligation to lift up other nations that the regime is attacking. Admit the failure of the US but give them support. We must resist within and support outside the country.

Not like this. I have been ashamed of things we’ve done or failed to do before, but this is an unapologetic and unmitigated heel turn that has no equivalent in my lifetime.
I'm 73. There have been perhaps 20 years in my life where I didn't feel the need to apologize to foreigners I encountered for what my country was doing.
