♥️ To provide compassionate care for people with delirium we need to:
➡️ detect & document it formally
➡️ communicate the Dx to pt & carers
➡️ alongside treating triggers, etc., consider the 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏 - how are they feeling? Do they need explanation & reassurance?

Any experience of being a patient yourself and you'll immediately realise how distressing it is to be overlooked.
