That case was my first computer. Packard Bell with an pentium 120 I overclocked to a blistering 133 by changing a jumper. Windows 95. I learned a lot on that hunk of junk.
Lmao, just hitting it in class as a kid just to be a troll. And something about putting your hand on the screen and watching the imprint develop and then fade? Or am I tripping?
the keyboards are definitely one of best parts of old tech, i used to daily drive a dell at101w, the keyboard in the picture is a dell quietkey rt7d5jtw which is a nice budget keyboard for the look and feel
Pretty sure it's EISA, looks right and pin count matches. So it's splitting a single EISA slot into 3 older ISA slots and 3 PCI. Neat I've never seen something like that before. Thanks for sharing pics!
i found it on facebook marketplace! it was simply labeled "Old computer" and i just think a lot of people are interested and posting about them recently
Ahh, the wide-tower model with the motherboard in the basement. Finding as many form factors for a single motherboard, with increasingly silly risers, was a mid-90s trademark for PB. :V
God, I miss the era when PCs didn't look like a Decepticon pooped on a Fisher-Price toy in the middle of a rave party.
I really just want to skip to the era where they all collectively realize just how fucking ugly and garish those things look and stop out of embarrassment.
PBells of that type and era were typically some flavor of Pentium or MMX Pentium, somewhere between 16 and 32 MB of RAM, an Aztech Sound Galaxy sound/modem combo card, and a basic network card. Video was onboard and was usually some flavor of Cirrus Logic 2D acceleration for video playback.

Anyway, good times.
So many PCI slots too! I wish my mom let my XP machine have more than 3 PCI slots, my 750TI takes up all the space LOL

What a time to be alive.
