QOTW: The Energon Universe. No definitive GI Joe or Transformers games. Set it in the current shared universe and throw M.A.S.K. in to blow the fans minds.
Profit.
Especially Transformers; GI Joe has been more quiet over the years, but Transformers has constantly been a force in movies, comics, and toys. The War for Cybertron games were good and Devastation (RIP) captured the feel of the original show, but odd that no one really ever figured them out in games
G.I. Joe. Yes there have been games released. But they're all just skinned versions of side scrollers. A FPS, or TPS with a cast of Joes/cobras with unique skills/gear. A multiplayer like Halo but with the tanks, jeeps, planes & gliders from the Real American Hero 1982-1991 toy run would be so fun.
QOTW: I feel like a truly great TRON game would be so cool. Not that the arcade cabinet doesn’t have its place, but wouldn’t it be be cool to have this action adventure that combines a modern 3d world with elements of 8-bit gameplay? Combine my love of Atari w/ the love of 4K gaming & Daft Punk.
QotW: Would it be Antista-pandering if I said Disney's Gummi Bears? It always baffled me as a kid that it was one of the few Disney Afternoon shows to not get an NES game. The main cast is made of palette-swapped characters with a jump-enhancing power-up built into the lore! Like, c'mon!
I just watched the Barney documentary “I love you, you hate me” and all I can think of is a massive Smash Bros like fighting game featuring characters from our childhood shows. Blue’s Clues could function like Ash and Pikachu, Grover like Luigi, and Bill Nye as Dr. Mario.
Bugs Bunny in particular, and most of the Looney Tunes cast as well. There have been so many attempts, and a handful of decent games in unexpected genres (racing and a non-Space Jam basketball game!) but as much as I personally like Birthday Blowout on NES despite its flaws it's hardly definitive.
I was gonna follow up with something about TTA somehow having a much higher hit rate but ran outta space.
Heck I even like the 8-bit games quite a lot. Trouble in Wackyland didn't grab me as immediately but like Pac-Man 2 I appreciated how different it was at the time.

Please, ArcSys, give me a One Piece FighterZ!

There has been 3 Samurai Jack games and none of them have really seemed to have a big impact
Look, all I'm gonna say is you just gotta let Platinum make a beat em up with him, that's literally all that needs to happen.
