Just as an aside to this episode:
Instead of making a new Crash game, or a new Spyro game, Microsoft should just make one big new 3D action platformer game.

And it should have Crash. And Spyro. And Banjo. And Conker. And Blinx.

They could call it something like, oh...I dunno...Skylanders.

In 2016, I won a PSVR bundle from Taco Bell when they had that daily give away. The best part was I didn't even plan on getting the PSVR to begin with, but winning it made me a convert to VR gaming. Too bad it's in a decline, though the PSVR2 on PC will be nice once it's fully supported.

A little late to the game but my wife won a Beatles radio contest where we got 2 box sets of CDs, a gold record, Beatles Rockband... and an Xbox 360 to play it on. So yes, you should enter promotional contests because it's likely few people did.

QotW: the only time I ever won something in a contest was the third prize off a contest IGN ran back in 1999. I forget what the main prize for it was but I got a Sleepy Hallow baseball cap and a random PS1 demo disc (think it was for Duke Nukem Time to Kill)

Remember the MTN Dew Xbox 360 pre-release giveaway contest? Well, I won one. It was DoA out of the box. Called Microsoft about it, sent it in and got another. The second one lasted about a week before it red ringed, before anyone knew what that was. Kind of gave up on 360.

I won an iPad in a dorm building raffle in college. However, I was part of the staff and we did the drawing in the front office after it was closed, so I insisted in forfeiting it because the appearance of corruption is as bad as actual corruption.

I also won a raffle for a Warhammer 40k Catachan Colonel model (who looks suspiciously like Carl Weathers in Predator) from my FLGS during the pandemic, mostly because I bought enough other models to nearly guarantee winning since I was DINKing it at the time.
