1) I went back with a guide, prompts were gone.
2) it was multiple games on Vita; Gravity Rush, Uncharted, Kilzone etc. Guacamelee is just when I gave up.

In Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous a companion gets kidnapped by cultists only to find that she's talked them into returning her. I made the kid cry when I killed the cultists but that isn't my regret, no. Turns out I locked myself out of the rest of her quest line when I offed the traitors

Probably not what you are asking for but my biggest gaming regret is selling my copies of Guerrilla War and 720 for NES to purchase Everclear’s So Much for the Afterglow so that later that night I could get it signed at a concert/meet and greet.

I always feel like I fucked up how I finished Chrono Cross.
I'm pretty sure there's a specific way to defeat the final boss involving certain elements in order to get the true ending. As a stubborn youth I just used brute force and smashed the boss good. Got a crappy ending in return.

QOTW: There are 900 Korok seeds to collect in BoTW, and after meticulously mapping all of Hyrule, I finally reached what I thought was my last one—only to realize I had collected just 899. The thought of retracing my steps across the entire map to find that one elusive seed was too much to bear.

QotW : My main regret is never giving Final Fantasy XI a chance. I wanted to play every mainline FF but when it first came out, the price kept me away - the game itself, the hard drive and a subscription was too much for a student. But later on, when I could afford it, it just seemed so archaic.

MMOs have changed dramatically since the PS2 era - if it was just a graphics issue, that'd be one thing, but the systems are completely out of date and it's really hard to play alone. I really feel like I missed the boat on that one.

I regret not getting all the endings in Chrono Trigger. Played it in 2001 and hit a rough patch late in the year that kept me at only 12 of the endings for some reason. I have the Steam port now maybe I'll finally change that.

I used an exploit in Elden Ring to cheese the Mohg, Lord of Blood boss, and I've felt rotten about it ever since.
I haven't bought the DLC yet, but I'm hoping that'll give me an excuse to start the game over and vanquish him the proper way.

I played Dark Souls 1 for the first time on Twitch three yeras ago, with a friend on Discord giving me help. I was so happy when I beat the game, until I was told I got the "bad ending". Final Fantasy 9. I got so into the card game and grinding for Gil and Cards that I just lost my momentum to finish the game. Made it to the beginning of the 3rd disc then moved on to some other shiny new game… always bummed I never finished it.

My first time through The Witcher 3, I ended on good terms with Triss and bad terms with Yennifer. Somehow, during Blood and Wine, I ended up with Yennifer. This was the PS4 version. I eventually got the game on Steam when I got my Steam Deck and am currently working through it again.

Maybe Chris could start a game club, where everyone tries to get to a certain chapter (or log X hours) each week and then talk about it? Not for content, just a way to share the game experience.
