When I took a European history course in college I was shocked!
Still, the class was really focused on just England, France, Spain, and Germany. Very little about the rest of Europe or its neighbors.
And the media cannot stay focused on any one thing for too long.
Many of us feel powerless to shape the events around us.
Or we are sheep, cheering on the traitors who are literally destroying our country.

In Ukraine, we learn world history together with UA history starting from 5th grade (10-11 y.o.)
Certain groups like Christian Nationalists and the oligarch class have been dismantling public education for decades now, and we see the results.
You can take world history in some schools, but often it's an optional class.
Hell my kid went to the "best" high school in my state, and they didn't even get past WW1 in history. 🤷
These are people who made reality TV popular. Obviously not a bright group.

I've worked in a university for American students who studied abroad in Denmark. Teachers and dorm caretakers said that our newcomers (18-20 y.o.) often didn't have a basic knowledge about managing everyday life on their own.
