Questions must be asked about how a small band of likeminded people, meeting regularly at Auckland Grammar, gained the power to undo all the work done on the refreshed curriculum by many experts over four years.

The fact that Anya Pollock had to tell Michael Johnstone the Ministry of Education *does in fact need to review the curriculum* before it's sent to the Minister shows just how brazen they are
"The curriculum and CPM writing groups were established [to provide] a contracted service (ie to write draft material for those documents) knowing that further work would be done by officials and decisions ultimately made by the minister, ie these groups do not have decision-making rights."
