Biological women have a long tradition of sneaking into the gentlemen's convenience when the line for the Ladies is too long and the men's loo is empty. If this option is taken up by transwomen, who's going to know?

Do they not see that becomes "trans people want special treatment"... even when, no, they don't. They mostly just want to be left alone.
And they don't want a huge sign that effectively says "beat up trans people here".

Idk…I enter the ladies, go into a stall (a tiny room in most public Euro toilets), do my business, wash my hands and leave. I’m not there to worry about what anyone else is doing, and it certainly doesn’t matter what kind of plumbing the person next to me has.

Sounds crazy but it could catch on!

Perhaps the Scandinavian model is the answer , row of shared individual toilets with sinks for use by everyone or same with a row of shared sinks for goodness sake,50 years from now-if we're all still here (I won't) this will all be seen as performative silliness

It should be such a low hurdle: acknowledge that bad things are bad; include trans people in discussions about their lives.

If it seems to be hard, maybe that's not the fault of the tiny minority group targeted for attack by the UK, US, and other powers.
