For Assigned Media, our goal is to move our website off of US servers and away from any dependence on US companies. This essential step will hopefully protect us against the looming possibility of illegal, unconstitutional attacks on our speech as trans journalists.

Project 2025 defines trans speech as pornography and calls for pornographers to be banned. We take the threats in that radical document deadly seriously and are doing what we can to ensure free, independent, transgender journalism will exist no matter how low this fascist government sinks.
