100% Mike, the minutiae is ruining many games, we judge offsides by milimetres & we wait sometimes minutes for decisions. The Administrators need to let football be football.

Nice one, Mike. I remember a certain A-League club offering free sausage rolls to attract fans — literally the worst part of football. It inspired me to help them by writing a strategy on how to promote the game. Too much to detail here, but the overall principle was simple: football first.

With the Bluey comment. Think there’s a place for those things if done well. It’s school holidays and if Bluey being there draws 500 more fans to the ground that are exposed to the game then that’s great.

Just has to be done tastefully and not to the detriment of the football.

Getting into some finer details here but maybe inside the turnstiles but in the precinct above the lower seating bowl. You don’t want people who haven’t paid for a ticket to get that experience. Kind of defeats the purpose of booking & paying for the entertainment.
