Went to a stack of games in Europe last May. One of the things that stood out was the fact that if you have a critical mass of fans, you can pretty much ignore the stupidity of league administrators. Fans still get jerked around. But it's easier to shake it off and just focus on supporting. #ALM

I've filed an #aleague column every week for the past 16 years. It's boycotted by many fans online... because at some point I wrote something about their club they didn't like. Which is symptomatic of where the game is at. A few bickering diehards, while everyone else stopped caring long ago.
