Yes, I agree. In Australia at least we have reasonably structured press conferences, even if they turn out to be combative or unsatisfactory for many reasons. At least one has a chance to focus on progress or lack of progress on important issues.

Yep it is disorienting (and hard to keep up). Also, we no longer have a set of shared ‘facts’ or sense of what happening since we are all consuming different feeds from different sources.
