Equal parts love and hate for this game.

I unquestionably had a great time with it back in the day, but actually solving it requires so much unintuitive bullshit that my feelings for this game are complicated.

Yeah, I have the same issue with one of my old favourites, MegaTraveller: The Zhodani Conspiracy. I love the Traveller universe and was enthralled by it back in the day, but it's such a difficult game to play with its unintuitive systems.

I still wonder why I never could find the alleged Apple II and Mac ports of these games. And why it is whenever I question their existence, there's always a mob to point out how I'm wrong and this or that person actually had them.

I really dig the series as a whole, especially the fact that it takes itself not too seriously and the Sci-Fi/Fantasy mix is one I love.

The second game combine the two wonderfully with two town teleporters operated by "Jean-Luc" and Spock.

It's a deserving boast, the original Might & Magic really had an impressive amount of content for a game in 1986. It's almost an open world RPG in some ways, with stuff like repeatable quests and a big overworld.

I followed CRPG Addict's blog for a while, which helps in seeing the genre landmarks
