Aww, yesterday was the 30th anniversary of the DOS release of the first Discworld point-and-click adventure! Moon logic and frustrating puzzles aplenty but so much charm and a cracking voice cast.
Let's have some fresh Discworld love, peeps. What are your favourite Discworld novels/things?

Discworld Noir being a particular favourite game wise
Iβve read all the books multiple times except for the last one. Canβt quite bring myself to read that knowing there will be no more π’
Monstrous Regiment is so important and good and all comes together very nicely with both its plot and its messaging.
Going Postal is just deeply funny and I could read Moist von Lipwig feeling dismayed for days on end.
There was also the Discworld MUD from 1992, which is still running!
Also think The Truth is underrated, as an exploration of journalism's relationship to power...though it's much more optimistic than the world we ended up in. ^_^'
And of course all the one-liners in Discworld Noir!
As a former local newspaper editor, parts of it resonated with me personally too, aha.
*He was gifted Men At Arms and Witches Abroad. Hated them so gave them to me π
I got all the books now, currently re-reading everything in a different order. Finishing _Moving Pictures_ now.
I haven't tried it yet but there is a Playstation 1 version of Discworld Noir. Probably works better in an emulator than trying to get the PC version working on a modern system.
