So beautiful and so raw. I don't think Shinkai ever again reached such purity and intensity of emotion, expressed with such simplicity and elegance.

Such a great movie! Set in the future and yet with that distinctive early 2000's feel. Kind of sad though, you kind need to be in the right mood to watch it I feel.

Makoto Shinkai's 1st animated color film. Drawn and rendered on a Mac g4 tower? He and his wife did the voice work. It's because of this short film that he was able to get funding to make 'The place promised in our early days'
Truly an amazing film.
