ive forgotten how to find cool things and rly im embarrassed about it. used to be way better as a child pre-feeds ofc. constantly feel im only able to retrain that skillset by venturing offline

Twitter really did make people learn a lot of bad habits. Like, this site can actually be pretty powerful but you actually have to follow people and use all its features like hastags, search, and most importantly, feeds. Like, if you have an interest, there's probably a feed for it.

Yeah ._.; I feel like that's one reason some people are turned off by sites like Tumblr and decentralized platforms like Mastodon in addition to this joint. Like none of these places depend on algorithms you get the content you yearn for by actively looking for it.

It sort of bothers me that people are so in-denial about this that he has to be super self-deprecating and frame it as just an opinion, instead of something that is immediately apparent to anyone with basic awareness
