I think people need to embrace being cringe. Often, “cringe” means enthusiastic. It means invested. To be cringe is to care more than others think you should. I think we should all probably care at least a little more.

And ask yourself why they want you to shut up. Is your art/writing making them look inside and that is making them uncomfortable? If so, good you are on the right track and they can go straight to hell. Keep on keeping on artists, craftsmen, orators, and writers. You shape change. We love you.
