For a couple of years I had a little hummer dude that also was a regular at my feeder.
But he was super-territorial and would be aggressive to any other males that came by, so I named him Attila the Hum 😂

That’s amazing! I feed them on my balcony when they’re here in summer. But the closest I get is when they check whether I’m a danger before going to the feeder
That’s awesome…I love watching hummingbirds. Did it take long to get him to come to you? I have had them hover 6 inches from my face which was also pretty awesome.
Thank you so much for this. (Actually made me teary) My state has none 😭. I miss them , our old house in Az. Had feeders in front of almost every window 💜 had I researched and known they weren’t here we may have moved elsewhere 🤷♀️
I had a hummer who would sit on my finger and drink nectar from the feeder. It’s such a thrill! I’ll never forget how their little feet felt on my finger!!
I have four hairless derps and this is their ‘high-def’ TV. Window mounted hammocks are brilliant. Keeping the feeder close to the window prevents bird strikes, too.

We have one in the summer at 3:30 every day, looking forward to next spring 😀
For some reason, all the others stay west. Hector is adorable & I’ve never seen one that looks like him before.
We don't have them here in Australia
Thank you for posting.
I want a Hector!
