Dictatorships often isolate their own countries from the world, and this move by the US to discourage foreign visitors should be viewed in that light.

That will be all of us (non-white people specifically) soon.
Regular white (read: not rich) people can kick the can down the road a bit but itβs coming for them, too.
It's not like we have some important bond. How many important US people trace their roots back to...that place?

The American passport is powerful and it will not change , but what it affect is probably family abroad who don't hold the US citizenship ( and in this case they are even starting to deport people with US citizenship )
No, they will. Maybe not right away. But it's coming.
They'll start adding social media requirements to passport renewals. These are people who set up concentration camps. They'll do it.
The US isn't Nigeria or South Africa in terms of weak passports
The worst scenario for the US passport is becoming like Romania or Greece which is still .... Powerful
