Starling murmurations are one of the wonders of nature and it's fab you caught it on camera! I've been privileged to see a few when visiting family in Sussex. Thank you for brightening up my timeline 🥰
Also they don’t get a sense of what it looks like from our perspective right. The craziest thought to me is they have no understanding of how beautiful it is.
It’s funny, as a boy we saw murmurations all the time, in a village in the Vale of York. We had a huge ash tree behind our house where starlings roosted.
So I unthinkingly assumed I’d see them all the time forever, but subsequently living in towns & cities I virtually never have 😞
I'd be so confused by this if I were a Peregrine or a Sparrowhawk, I'd probably sit down in a tree with a view and a tub of popcorn and watch, completely mystified...
