There's snow on one side of one of the trees and not any of the others in the shot. The snow below the canopy seems a bit off and everything seems to have flat textures, including the snow, trees and the childs jacket. No major shadows being casted by any of the trees. Also there's no similar paths.
Sir, I know California Red Woods are a thing.
But I still believe that images is ai generated.
However I appreciate and thank you for this information, I hope you have a lovely day sir.
While I agree because of details in the image, I wanted to let you know that those programs are extremely flawed. Artists have ran their own art through them and had it come back as likely AI, as have writers, especially if they use a lot of less common vocabulary.
I know a lot of them are (especially text-based ones- my poor son regularly has to tell teachers "I swear it's not AI, I'm just autistic, that's how I talk") but I've had very good luck with SightEngine for images, and third parties seem to review it favorably.
Plus, this pic was sus to begin with.
I know about the Sequoia park, I was stating that the image was likely generated by an Ai. But I thank you for trying to educate me on the matter, It's appreciated and I hope you have a lovely day.
Hope you’re calling your reps everyday because the plan is to defund those agencies even further so they can’t function, blame them, and then privatize them. Goodbye public land. Goodbye resources. Hello fires and accelerated climate change.
I would so get lost in those😓. And not in the " Oh my god I could still here forever🤩. " way. It's thee " Oh shit my family was there just a second ago😰. " way.
Thanks for reminding me of all the times my family visited Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite National Parks when I was a kid. So lucky to grow up in the Central Valley and be so close to the Sierras. Thanks Mom & Dad. ❤️
Preserving these places, keeping them pristine and untouched is the exact reason the National Park Service was created, and why this one and many others that are marvels still here. Treating them as a for profit game of short 1 time value, ignores once gone they are gone for good
I hope you are right … but they have little regard for anything but their own selves. They are shameless and cruel. We already know they don’t care about the environment. Trump just wants more hotels and golf courses … like in Gaza! I’m sorry just feeling really hopeless today. 😞
Not only are they beautiful and majestic but very old. They have lived through so much of human history. I wonder how much more they will live through.
That is astounding!!!! What an incredibly beautiful landscape, seems otherworldly, a thing of fiction. I'm waiting for a wizard to pop out from behind a tree....
For anyone questioning. I found this.
David Attenborough is credited. I always want to find out who the original photographer was. It's really sad when they are not credited properly and people will just share.
There’s quite a bit of discussion about whether this is an AI generated image. Perhaps you could shed some light on that.
It also raises another question. You have a lot of followers. How do you source your images? Do you obtain the consent of the photographer? Why is attribution so inconsistent?
I lived in SF for 10 years and went there a number of times, i also work in VFX and gen AI. i can confidently say this is made with stable diffusion. Main thing is just the finishing of it. Doesnt have the grain, detail, or mistakes of a photo. It’s really insidious and I’m super against false pics.
The Giant Forest in Sequoia National Park is high up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, at around 7,000 feet (2,100 meters). It gets lots of snow in winter and can stay cool even in summer. Most big California cities are near the coast and don't see snow, but some inland areas do.
I have seen trees nearly this size in California. For those of you saying it's AI-generated, travel to California and see for yourself. The trees are amazing.
I encourage all Americans to try to go and personally see these Giants. Such majesty. It will change your perspective on your place in the world. Also, go before Trump let’s them all burn down without sending help.
I mean where's the profit in beauty and magnificence?
Let's cut those babies down and drill for oil until the planet's resources are drained ...and then we die
But most importantly...people will have been very rich before the planet was destroyed 🙄
Too bad it’s closed, if only were open if only Trump hadn’t fired everybody all the park Rangers for all the national parks some of us would get to go there and see that beautiful site!
Even those trees look like the haired texture of a carpet from orbit. And that's close orbit because from the Moon it barely colors the overall landscape...now imagine how invisible the humans in that image really are!

This is a real wedding photo. The trees are huge. There is one tree that has a road going through it.
