Amsterdam is built on thousands of pylons too. It’s an amazing sight to see how they replace the (centuries-old) pylons of the canal houses. They quite literally lift the houses to do that.

What I'd like to witness (but NOT take part in!) was the task of moving Abu Simbel to its present location
