"Storytelling doesn't beat Nazis" True but if we give up on storytelling, literally what is the point of being alive? Keep telling your queer stories, your stories of resistance. They are necessary to keeping our souls.

I say it's not true. We know stories can affect viewpoints. A Superman radio show demolished the KKK in the 1940s and it never really recovered. Telling stories has real impacts so keep telling them.
As a Jew, stories have always been about resistance. So many of our holidays are about telling stories about resistance. That's literally what the Passover seder is. And out of every era of repression and violence comes new stories. Look at the golem of Prague, which came from pogroms.
