I want to remind everyone that the far right sees transgender people as being worthy of segregation out of general society, "separate but equal" treatment that of course, is never equal.
So much so that Iowa Republicans literally tried to redefine the word equal to not mean "same" or "identical."

Geez.. I’d like to have one day without any more bad news.
It's so dumb we're literally 0.6% of the population they've literally taken every talking point used against every other minority and combined into a cesspool of hatred
Anyway I wouldn't call it that just because mental illnesses are actual medical conditions people cannot help (I have an anxiety disorder for example). Bigots can change at any time their issue is moral not psychological.
They have a double supermajority now so iowas just going full TX/FL/TN and it sucks
Mace says "bio-fems only in womens restrooms" now... will she be saying "whites only" tomorrow?
This is really stupid and I hate that there isn't much we can do

OMFG! 🙄🤦♀️
A feature, not a bug, for Republicans.
“First they came for the socialists and I did not speak out…
Then they came for me and there was no one to speak for me”
Lotta people gonna learn it the hard way
The first big warning sign is they'll try to block trans people with legislation from all or most civil jobs or public things (government jobs, teachers, public events etc) watch for it. That's your que to ready a escape or to fight.
It saddens me that reading my own goofy response doesn't even read as obvious satire in this insane timeline we're in.
this is untrue, and you know it
they don't even want to acknowledge transgender people as people
