1. The 1Q 2025 Anti-Trans Risk Assessment Map is complete, and there are big changes.
I have issued a "Do Not Travel" for transgender foreign citizens.
Risk has deteriorated broadly across the US.
Transgender youth see changes in previously safe states.

Humor aside...my industrial and WWII history knowledge are still useful. Thank you Erin, for as horrifying as the map is...knowing we're watching each others backs gives comfort.
Living in Maryland? I'm more grateful for that every single day. Being out at work and having support is a huge relief...and it makes me aware of how lucky I am. And how much I worry for my friends and loved ones in red states. I need HRT and laser.
Also, as a pastor in MN if you or someone you know needs care or refuge in a safe state, reach out: I will work local resources to help.
for Canadian
I knew America was doomed when I read about why we, Europe, kicked out those fundamentalist terrorist breeders.
Because I was already trans in Texas.

And this administration only just started. I hate to see how orange and red these maps will be in a few years, or even in a few months.
Full map here:
I won't be doing that now
First, why is Delaware (my home state) light blue?
Second, what can I practically do for the trans people in my life?
Third, how do you just keep going? These two months have felt like two decades.
That part is not why I downgraded Iowa.
That part brought Iowa in line with most other states, which do not have a gender identity protection in civil rights law sadly.
I downgraded Iowa for the defining sex portion, which has been used to block DL changes and more.
This mentality is elitist, divisive, & dangerous.
Oklahoma is so fucking dumb. It's not even funny. Like a literal step back in time.
Discussing any trans issue with them is like arguing with the pile of shit
Mostly just worried about bathroom ban and how they're gonna use the list they put me on...
Well, less slowly, lockdown gave them the chance to buy half the county as it put everyone out of business.
i think it could be helpful for those needing a more granular view when fleeing.

I hate that we have to warn against foreign travel. I had been looking forward to world pride as a celebration of progress, but we can't in good conscience tell people travel is safe.
As far as I can tell, the agents at the border can seemingly on a whim use the slightest pretense to arrest you and then take you to some detention center in another state without even telling anybody where they took you. The worst case scenario is nightmarishly bad
I didn’t see the bounty system for trans. That’s a new one on me, and I wasn’t aware of Florida
Shutting down debate just says you can’t stand up to scrutiny.
This creates unhealthy echo chambers.
I do care if it’s true or false. I am seeking factual information, but you have to wade through a lot of bullshit, and you do get some on you when you do that.
So far I’ve been told that my opinion doesn’t matter, and that I don’t have a right to comment on this. I’ve been told that my position is right wing talking points.
Seeking understanding seems a lot like step aside.
