I disagree with you about abortion. I think there was a compromise, if you look at the law under Roe. It was never a crisis. On the other hand, I agree with you on immigration. It seems the crisis is because of our neglect. I try to understand it as a crisis & it seems like it’s an avoidable problem

It was protected under the constitution. It was settled law. Why do you need to legislate for settled law? No one understood how radicalized the justices were until it happened. But, the discussion is immigration. Is it really a crisis in itself or a crisis because it’s another culture war issue?
