That was my rationale behind getting a Steamdeck.... and it actually worked. Definitely not the "I'll have this on-hand always and fit in little bits of gaming constantly" pipe dream, but still a noticeable up-tick.

Honestly if you need convincing to buy something buy an OLED deck and use chiaki I don't even have modern routers and I can play D2 zero problem or lag I couldn't believe it

I think my only hesitation right now is their choice in limiting what headphones you can use wirelessly. I could plug some in but I don’t like it. And I don’t really want to buy another pair.

Honestly, I doubted it will change anything myself, but ever since I got ROG Ally (to Play my Steam library, just not sitting at the desk), Ive finished soo many games. Worth trying out
