This is what I've been saying. This is **everywhere** in Indian Country. Canadians suddenly think they're tough and ready for this fight - we're the descendants of the people you couldn't kill - we're tougher. After all, this is our Holy Land. Like in 1812, there is NO saving Canada without us.

Right now, for a lot of Canadians the temptation is to ignore Indigenous people because the threats from the US seem way more important. This turn to fervent and ignorant nationalism is a mistake. Don't alienate the people who know more about your "country" than you do. Find common cause instead.
