@chrystia-freeland.bsky.social I would like to propose that banks can ONLY charge 3 months interest to break a mortgage. I tried to get a better rate, but my bank’s payout rate = amount I would save. #anticompetitive. Many Canadians would save thousands if they could shop around while rates are low!
