@chrystia-freeland.bsky.social I would like to propose that banks can ONLY charge 3 months interest to break a mortgage. I tried to get a better rate, but my bank’s payout rate = amount I would save. #anticompetitive. Many Canadians would save thousands if they could shop around while rates are low!

Affective contagion might be the pandemic we’re not talking enough about. Maybe news for profit, and social media friends-of-friends needs to be regulated more closely. If profit is predicated on your emotional distress, there’s a problem.
