Maybe I keep it for some trips, but it's not the easiest way to move around here especially in the hardest winter months.
We don't get a *lot* of snow here (i am close to sea level also) but when we do, it is...
In summary, people suck at public priorities.
It has been remarkable to see how quickly these have become popular in areas i have visited.
I still just use a normal pedal powered bike on short trips but would love an escooter and ebike soon
That's really dumb. I used to walk a little less than that to commute before going remote.
But it makes it possible to work in the next town 8 km away without car. Yes a normal bike is possible, but not in practice at our age.
So ebikes reduce car miles
