Will, how did the government know this woman wrote an op-ed? How was she arrested so quickly a day after the op-ed? There might be some coordination possibly going on at the college-level that is not being investigated. Informants? Groups scanning college newspapers? Or more to her activists story?

There are a couple organizations that have been actively identifying voices critical of the Israeli government, advocating from divestment by universities/supporting BDS, etc. and Rubio is using them to revoke student visa's

When I first learned of this, I was unaware the ONLY thing she did was write an Op-Ed in her college newspaper.

She wasn’t protesting, camping out to protest, nor cross the line into violent acts. She merely wrote an Op-Ed in her School newspaper.
