Yes. This was written to tell folks that we make our own here too. TP is always one of the first panic buys in times of crises. It was read as parody and I couldn’t stop that crazy train. 🤣🤣😭
I've done my due diligence. TP, PT, coffee (Colombian), tissues, canned goods... all purchased within the last week from Costco. My pantry shelves are stocked, for at least the next 6-8 months. I hope that's long enough.
I wished it didn't have to happen. I warned others it was going to happen - all the 💩, I was just pro-active and decided the items I purchased don't have an expiration date - so it's all good.
As an American—right after the election I’ve been stocking up because I knew everything that was to come (read project 2025 and listened to that asshole talking about tariffs), and that is the only thing I’m grateful for right now.
I'm willing to explore a Costco membership, as they are holding firm to DEI, however, it's just my husband, me & our dog. I guess we could make it work.
I’m 100% on board with Costco! Switched from Sam’s this week, due to their choice to hold strong to DEI and their agreement to pay their workers a living wage.
Same here. We decided that even if we don't shop there often, it's important to support them. Perhaps you can split up larger quantities with family or friends.
Costco membership for decades. The cost of gas is worth it. I buy all produce at Costco, organic selection is better than Whole Foods. Besides, WF is owned by Bezos/Amazon. Or buy frozen fruits and veg, better deal per pound. Hot dog on the way out $1.50 is icing on the cake! Staff is always great!
You actually can make it work. It's only me & I just bought the chicken teriyaki meatballs (love them!) pk of 60 that I repackage w/my Foodsaver. Gives me 12 meals for about $14. Lots of items you can get for 1 or 2 people. If you have a store nearby go - more items than you can buy online.
Its just me and a cat, and its worth the membership. I get it delivered to me (I'm disabled) via Instacart. I believe they'll let you in and look around if you're interested in joining.
It’s just me, my partner and our dog. We use our Costco membership weekly. Even if we didn’t go through 2 gallons of milk a week we need a rotisserie chicken every week. You can also buy a lot of non-perishables in bulk and they last a while (box of beans or lunch size bags of chips)
I have a membership and it’s just me, my husband and two dogs. The membership pays for itself. I moved and now live over an hour away from
Costco and hate it but if I order over 100$ it’s free delivery. lol
Not sure all do but mine does delivery direct and for small
Orders, Instacart can deliver I believe. They have a lot of bulk but also items in 6 packs so that’s usually doable. I’ve shopped there for over 20 years. Can’t beat their return policy either.
I’m 54. I was always into tech but some of these apps drive me crazy. I hate Instacart. lol I’ve done it a handful of times when I couldn’t get to the supermarket.
I know that. Costco carries many Canadian products. They employ Canadians and treat them very well. They also support DEI initiatives. My point was about TP in general. Canada makes its own paper products, so it’s not a tariff issue and there shouldn’t be a shortage. Ppl hoard TP during crises. 😅🍁
I’ve literally been stocking up since November and have at least a 2-3 year supply of TP and paper towels from Costco.. it was obvious the senile convicted felon fascist dictator was serious with this insanity
I’m planning to live off the grid, in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Going to have one room dedicated to food storage. And…gonna be armed. I’m not a fan of that - but I think it’s prudent.
Smack us silly. I have a whole room full of fabric waiting to be converted to reusable toilet paper. I probably purchased it from Canada in the first place. Don’t back down.
I actually did a co-op at that factory (saved them about 20,000 GJ/yr of natural gas) and we were quite proud of winning that contract because the Kirkland specifications were quite exacting for their price-point.
But maybe Americans should be worried about their toilet paper supply! (I’m a Brit, came as a shock finding out my surname is associated with toilet paper in the USA.)
Look, y'all should have installed a bidet long ago. They are aftermarket and inexpensive. You owe it to your buttholes and hygine to upgrade to a bidet.

It’s Canadian, owned by its members.

Guess we'll have to get by on using all those strongly worded letters until this over.
And by the way, I’m so sorry that this country has gone insane.
Sincerely,
California. ♥️

Boss: Yeah, let's hear it...
Worker: let's switch sp labels to tp and move our unsold inventory
