I think that's right on all counts. I am not arguing Edelman should go in as much as I am pointing out the QB/NYC/Manning bias inherent in the system. I think Joe Flacco, another QB who has also had average stats and some strong post seasons, is a better comparison.

Oh wait, nevermind. He'd have to change his name to Joe Manning first.
But he has a lot of wins/touchdowns, so that's the kind of thing the hall likes.
This is a harder conversation per edelman because of qb bias anyways.
Flacco played 40 less games and didn't start for the second half of his career.
I feel like every qb on this list is hall bound regardless of advance metrics that tell us the quality of the players play.
