A conviction that only happened because of partisan operatives that drummed up charges that would have normally been dismissed. Garland is a Federalist plant.
Also, what happened to the 90-day probationary period?
Even if it was stated or written down 😉😉, the task was to put trump in prison. Garland didn't start the process until two years after the appointment. Biden should've fired his ass within the 90 days.
Oh please give Garland a break because I’m sure that he’s now very concerned that President Biden would nominate Hunter for a prestigious role as ambassador to France or anywhere else, after pardoning his son.
And it feels like that is exactly what is happening.
It’s like a group of terrorists have arrived to overthrow the government and everybody is too busy packing up to do anything about it. 🥺
If Biden didn´t pardon his son, then Trump would´ve pardon Hunter.
Along with a bunch of convicted Jan 06 fellons.
In that case J. Biden would be beholden to Trump. And that is not a good place to be in.
Biden had no other choice, against better judgement, than to pardon his son.
Merrick Garland is pathetic excuse of an attorney general. But then again he belongs to the heritage foundation so he did exactly what they wanted him to do.
Isn't it a little suspicious, just a little bit suspicious that the Orange shitstain,Traitortrump was allowed to conduct a shadow government the last 4 years?
Entertaining a fugitive (Bolsanaro) and a russian stooge (Orban) while that useless piece of shit Garland remained useless
I think he was compromised in some way. There is no explanation for his failure to indict members of Congress of seditious conspiracy involving JAN 6. He's been silent too on his way out the door.
Wrong man for the job. Good man, but the wrong man. Obama offered him up as a justice because the Heritage Foundation approved him. Too Centrist for today’s toxic political environment.
You are absolutely right. In today’s hyper-partisan climate, centrism is like bringing a butter knife to a sword fight. Dems need to match MAGA’s tactics and start fighting back.
Whatever opingion you might have of Garland, at least get your facts straight. There were many convictions. Agree that he was much too slow going after the "suits" of the insurrection.
He surely wasn't up to the job, and his at least one year lateness in appointing Jack Smith became one of many factors that led to the impossibility of getting the really important cases finished in time. Plus Trump's one genius of delaying court cases, the rogue SCOTUS delaying + doing immunity...
I've been angry about that appointment for 4 years. He should be publicly humiliated for his negligence & incompetence regarding pursuing & prosecuting crimes. He is useless. Maybe his family likes him. 🤔
🙄🤦🤦🤦 At the end of the day, though, Biden FAILED !! Biden was the only person who could have fired Garland !! And now Biden's legacy is America's loss of it's Democracy & the whole world order is going to change !!🤬🤬🤬
I know Americans are pissed but so is the rest of the civilised world.🇦🇺
My take is that the outcome will be no different than his first term. Yes, he'll do more damage, but he'll be gone in 4 years. Fickle'd Americans disgusted by the shitstorm will elect a dem majority House in Nov 2026 & a dem President in Nov 2028. The Senate will be tied. Wash, rinse, repeat👍🤣💯
If one believes the numbers. Given the trifecta of musk, putin,& trump it's impossible for me to believe there was no tampering. Too much at stake - most of the Republican party would have gone down had trump actually been tried by Jack Smith. Jmo.
You can't rely on voters when you have a fucked up Electoral College System. It was up to Biden to ensure the rule of law took care of the criminal... he had 4 years!
Garland tried to stay apolitical in a very political environment. Think he totally misread the threat that was to undermine the laws of the USA. Nothing is off limits for Trump or his admin. We don't know what has/is going on behind the scenes but an aggressive public response was needed.
Maybe putting a fox in charge of the henhouse was a bad idea.
I honestly feel that Trump admitted everything on national tv he wouldn’t have brought it to trial.
Oh wait, Trump did and he didn’t.
Are you suggesting all the J6 convictions never happened? To be clear, I'm no Garland fan. He has been a major disappointment, to put it mildly. Still, credit where due.
Stewart Rhodes and Enrique Tarrio are both among a handful of leaders who were convicted of seditious conspiracy. That's a big one. They are VIP guests with long term accommodations at The Greybar Hotel.
Point taken. It'll be interesting to read his book b/c you know there'll be one. How he explains/justifies his delays & decisions. Honest? Fiction? Fantasy?

Certainly no patriot. I despise the man. And now incoming is even worse. 🤦🏼♀️
I didn’t think of it that way.
And it's so good to see you here.
#gutlessgarland and his deplorable legacy

That's fine by me.
