No, not grumpy at all. They are just born with resting b face. I've dealt with it my entire life. I've even been stopped while shopping and asked if I was OK. It's just the way my face naturally looks.
It's uncanny. This is the same face I used to get from a Robin in England when I opened the blinds every morning. He'd swoop down to a vine close to the window and give me the stink-eye until I replenished the feeder with sunflower seeds. I should call him.
They usually, ok well, always give me the stank eye when I fail to refill the mealworm feeder. So much judgment! I'm sorry. Ok? Getting those worms right now, mister pissyface.
