This is not even a joke, I was accused of cheating on an exam in University because I . . . remembered stuff . . . and had to prove in a disciplinary hearing that I . . . remembered stuff . . .

I would use the guidelines for an assignment as an outline and simply said what it told me to say in a similar format and walked home with A’s every time
They were still very doubtful but decided grudgingly there were no grounds to prove I had cheated, but they made it very clear that they found remembering things MOST DISTURBING
I can't understand why they said remembering was cheating. If it was, why did they tell you things in the first place? Doesn't that make them complicit???
What they found suspicious was I remembered the text verbatim, so they were all "HO HO MR. SMART GUY, LET'S SEE IF YOU CAN DO IT NOW!" and gave me a pen and paper and had me regurgitate the text verbatim again, in front of them.
My cousin almost failed a class in high school because he was so bored that he kept dozing off all of the time. He aced the final and was accused of cheating. The teacher asked him how he knew history then and he was like “I read the text book?”

What was the subject matter?
And I did.
Which they still found suspicious.
