We just planted a bunch of dahlias! But this is the first season in many years that we've planted hollyhocks, which were always my favourite, and my mother's too. Sunflowers and zinnias for the goldfinches, and everything else for the hummingbirds and bees. Misty has put the courtyard to right. :)

Ah, that sounds delightful! You guys are going to have a lovely summer - it'll be a beautiful place to sit out and watch the little visitors. I still can't get my head around having hummingbirds in the garden! It's exciting enough when we get hummingbird hawkmoths! 😊 I've seeded some zinnias too. 😊

We have hummingbirds galore here, and with all the flowers we have going this year, we will have plenty Miracle Misty has blown the doors off of the courtyard and put flowers everywhere. Curiously, the woman who wants to pet alligators is existentially terrified by hummingbirds. I feed them by hand.

Photo updates, please, when it's all blooming! 😊 That's interesting about having an aversion to hummingbirds - they do move so fast and unpredictably? Totally understandable about alligators - they're lovely. 😊
