A sign of the extremism of the Musk/Trump/Project 2025 crew is that public schools in the US are run locally, usually at the municipal level, by elected school boards. These anti-government extremists act like US public schools are a form of centralized tyranny when they’re the opposite of that.

When these people talk about a tyrannical government they mean their own inability to steal public resources for their own private ends.
