I mean FIRST OF ALL, my god his body but SECOND OF ALL the anti-Christ imagery is so intense and so perfectly mixed with the Manson-esque hippy stuff and the shot of him descending on others like Lucifer is just... It is a perfect 20 seconds of film and I can’t believe that movie flopped.

It may have been too heavy handed if they did, but I wish there were more Heaven and Hell metaphors with the different sides of the line. Still a favorite of mine. 10/10 for me!

Also Lewis Pullman is the MVP. What an arc.

When I watched it in theatres (so over 6 years ago), I considered it fine. Nothing too special.
Rewatched it last year for the first time and oh my god is this film good.
Now it's on my long list of "films I have to show my pals" (but I wait with that until I have the blu-ray).
