I'm not persuaded that 'no one wins from a trade war'. If the world joins together and says we will not stand for this bullshit, take 100% on all American exports, Trump will back down (he already backed down over Canada and Mexico) that's the win. He responds to strength not Starmer's weakness.

The wild thing is you need less than three dozen people to restore much of the "world as we knew it". An impeachment trial could work with 20 Republican senators doing their job - and the articles (if I'm not wrong) only need a majority in the house - as few as 8 Republicans might be enough there.
