For the money, I would buy a second hand Leaf E+. I just think they will last longer and be upgradable etc due to a longer history.

my only issue with the LEAF is the battery temp issue with fast charging, as a second car in a rural area, it will be rapid charged a lot on trips to Syd etc.

OK. That's fair. Although I'm not sure if it would be such an issue for the longer range Leaf, which needs to be charged less often.

For almost the money, I would buy an MG4. Or look for a good second-hand one.
