Carney bringing up Harper is very disconcerting to me. Carney does not cite the FIPA deal signed by Harper, in secret, which chained us to China in very unfavourable terms for this country. How much of a Harper clone is Carney? If I was Carney, I would be distancing myself from him. Time will tell.

I do not agree that Carney’s approach with trump, however. Carney seems to believe that trump is open to lasting deals if we give the US something. Carney’s reaction to “what will you do when trump calls you Governor?” was telling. He was flustered. Trump is insane. Carney does not recognize that.
