This story would make it into trump speeches at rallys, right after telling the police to not protect perps' heads when putting them into squad cars. "They came to me and said Sir do we need to worry about giving this guy his medicine..."
Fucking burn their houses down. Who tf cares about a silly conviction. The law is going around slaughtering people with a joyful smile and you wanna do everything you can submit to it? Why are even pushing it?
Denying incarcerated people their vital medication seems to be all too common. A friend of mine’s ex died in prison after not being able to reliably get his HIV meds too. And I feel like we’ve seen similar stories with heart and diabetes drugs.
it's pretty amazing that this piece doesn't report the crime (or not crime) he was being asked to appear in court for. I feel like most outlets would report that detail, which can super marginalize the state's crime. This is some responsible reporting

Prison guards are guys who never outgrew that phase and now get to do it in real life.
This is deliberate

One of many reasons (including living most of my life in one), that I say that neolib states ain’t shit.
Paging Biden DOJ: maybe pull some of those FBI agents off investigating pro-Palestinian activists and move them to civil rights enforcement.
trump doing the same and being bad mannered about it doesn't change that
Got it.
I would like to reiterate that I do not agree with your sentiment that it would be hard to convict.
I agree that the prosecution service won't take it up

(Note: trumped up claims is a term mocking the disgraced former president, specifically noting his dissmissive hyperbolic and narcissistic language)
